Fosway Group, Europe’s #1 HR industry analyst, has published its annual Talent Acquisition Realities research for 2024, in association with Recfest, the global leader in TA events, and the ultimate twice-yearly gathering for in-house recruitment teams to connect and innovate.
Hire quality, candidate experience, external hiring and recruiting value are now the lead talent acquisition priorities for the year ahead, and economic headwinds are biting with 75% reporting stagnating or reduced budgets. Challenging times, but a climate in which TA teams are looking to adjust to through a focus on internal development and retention, amongst other areas of focus.

A snapshot of the fourth infographic: There are still significant opportunities for buyers to consolidate their talent acquisition solutions ecosystem, with typically less than half having a standardised approach to key stages of the hiring cycle. The fragmentation of much of the solution stack shows how fractured and complex organisations’ ecosystems end up becoming as they mix services and solutions to augment their hiring processes.
