Published in September 2024 and now in its tenth year, Fosway Group\u2019s Digital Learning Realities<\/a> research explores how L&D teams rise to the challenge of a fast-changing business environment and tech landscape.<\/i><\/p>\n

Schulungen zu Compliance und regulatorischen Vorschriften waren lange Zeit der wichtigste Treiber des betrieblichen Lernens, aber im Jahr 2024 hat sich die Situation ge\u00e4ndert.<\/p>\n

Weiterbildung und Umschulung f\u00fchren nun strategische Lernpriorit\u00e4ten an. In weiten Teilen Europas machen der anhaltende Druck einer alternden Bev\u00f6lkerung und die Herausforderungen bei der Verf\u00fcgbarkeit von Fachkr\u00e4ften Kompetenzen zu einem hei\u00dfen Thema. Dies, kombiniert mit der Notwendigkeit, neue Mitarbeiterf\u00e4higkeiten angesichts beispielloser globaler und technologischer Ver\u00e4nderungen aufzubauen, hat dazu gef\u00fchrt, dass Weiterbildung und Umschulung von Platz 3 im letzten Jahr auf Platz 1 der Priorit\u00e4ten von L&D-Profis f\u00fcr das kommende Jahr aufgestiegen sind.<\/p>\n

Whilst this could be seen from a L&D only perspective, what this genuinely represents is a growing momentum for \u2018skills-powered\u2019 organisations typically led by a wider HR strategy. In the CIPD Spring Labour Market Outlook report over half of organisations had responded to hard-to-fill vacancies by upskilling more employees. Skills is the HR zeitgeist and its influence is clearly filtering through to learning teams. And this means effective L&D teams need to partner much more deeply with other HR teams to make sure skills is coherently joined up across the people experience. The last thing any L&D professions should do with skills is stand in isolation. You do need to be connected.<\/p>\n

The L&D priority for compliance, career development, onboarding and CSR all saw decline<\/h2>\n

One of the consequences of the surge around upskilling and reskilling has been the waning priority for compliance, career development, onboarding and CSR. All of which took a noticeable dip compared to their ranking last year.<\/p>\n

How much this has been driven by a tightening around new hiring and what some have called the \u2018Great Talent Stagnation\u2019 is unclear. But it does hint at a refocusing on workers\u2019 employability rather than the promise to deliver career progression. That could be indicative of organisations enabling people to keep pace with existing roles as much as enabling them to step into new ones.<\/p>\n
