Action plan

1) Customers should create an Innovation Plan detailing which technologies are important for you to pilot, with specific audiences. Your innovation plan should ideally have business sponsors who care!

2) Look at unconventional sources to understand the available opportunities for innovating learning solutions. If you are implementing platforms understand the opportunities of deploying to the Cloud for example, these typically have a higher rate of innovation.

3) Innovation may not just be about functionality, it may be more about facilitating a different learning experience.

4) Be proactive with your suppliers about what innovations you are looking to deploy. Regularly review their solution roadmaps. Check suppliers record of innovation and their background investment in their solutions to appreciate if they are innovative.
